VetYogi Launches new subscription service for veterinary teams
VetYogi, the yoga company run by vet Chloe Hannigan, has launched a new subscription service for veterinary practices and individuals. VetYogi’s new ‘VetYogi Collective’ is the first of its kind and provides an affordable, on-demand online hub of yoga, mental health and wellbeing sessions. In addition to a monthly live yoga session, members will be able to access a library of content with yoga sessions lasting minutes or over an hour. There are also videos, and advice on guided meditation to help support wellbeing and manage stress. The service is targeted at the whole team with sessions designed to meet the individual needs of vets, RVNs, practice managers and receptionists, students and non-clinical roles / paraprofessionals. Practices signing up their team can benefit from preferential rates and can use the VetYogi Collective badge on their materials to signal their commitment to supporting wellbeing. Information about VetYogi Collective is available at https://collective.vetyogi.com/.
Founder Chloe Hannigan and the VetYogi team are well aware of the unique stressors within the veterinary industry, and the importance of finding ways to cope with day-to-day pressures. Chloe explains: “Working in a vet practice can be so rewarding, but it does come with its fair share of challenges! Long hours and high-pressure situations can take a toll on your mental and physical health, which is why setting aside some time for self-care and relaxation is so important.”
VetYogi Collective was created by Chloe to provide access to yoga sessions to fit in with busy schedules. VetYogi’s convenient ‘on-demand’ format grants a user unlimited access to pre-recorded mindfulness sessions and a wide variety of yoga classes no matter where they are, what they are doing, or the time of day. An instructor from the VetYogi team will lead monthly live Yoga sessions, inviting all subscribers to tune in and practise mindfulness alongside other VetYogi members. Members will also benefit from preferential discounts at the VetYogi shop and on VetYogi-led events, such as virtual retreat days.
Chloe says: “It’s important that everyone who has a need, has access to the type of wellbeing tools that they respond best to, so we have developed self-care sessions for all roles in the profession. If you have had a hard day or a stiff neck from working in theatre for hours, or are just feeling tense and unable to switch off, you need help there and then. The VetYogi Collective provides that support around the clock which we simply couldn’t deliver any other way.”
Subscriptions cost £12 per month for an individual subscription, with discounts for multiple practice members, making the VetYogi collective an accessible option for all who need it.
