Virbac join forces with BEVA to promote Equine Vet Safety at Work

To celebrate the addition of TorphadineTM to their equine sedative range, Virbac are offering vets the opportunity to win a place on the BEVA First aid Course for Equine Vets on 22nd March 2018.

Personal injury is a major risk for equine vets, with the 2014 BEVA injuries survey showing that equine vets having the highest risk of all civilian occupations in the UK. Whilst many precautions can be taken to mitigate this risk, serious injuries can occur, even with sedated animals.

Introduced by BEVA last year, the course which leads to an FAA Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, proved very popular. For further information and full T+C’s contact your local Virbac territory manager.

Torphadine contains butorphanol (POM-V).  Further information available in the SPC from Virbac Limited, Woolpit Business park, Windmill Avenue, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP30 9UP; Tel: 01359 243243  Email: enquires@virbac.co.uk. W: https://uk.virbac.com/   Use medicines responsibly.
