Supreme aims to keep rabbits hoppy

At London Vet Show this year Supreme Petfoods is sponsoring two lectures about improving clinical outcomes for rabbits. RCVS Specialist, Molly Varga, is giving a talk entitled Hoppily ever after – managing long term mobility disorders in rabbits. RVN and Director of Lagolearn, Jo Hinde’s talk is Many Hoppy Returns: nursing rabbits with chronic mobility issues. Both talks will take place on Thursday 16th November in Gallery Suite 17 at 1 pm and 3 pm respectively.

Claire Hamblion, Supreme Marketing Manager says the impact of mobility problems in rabbits is often underestimated, “The consequences of conditions such as pododermatitis and arthritis can be devastating if the owner doesn’t know how to adapt handling techniques, husbandry or diet. The talks will provide information about creating long term care plans and making adaptations in-clinic to ensure these patients receive high quality care.”

The lectures are free to attend for LVS delegates and as rabbit sessions tend to fill up quickly, attendees are advised to arrive promptly for the start times.
