At VetShare business development conference, everyone wins!

Veterinary buying group VetShare is offering a one day practice development conference ‘For vets who mean business’ to member practices on Sunday 27th September at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC). The event will cost just £50 plus VAT with all proceeds going to the Veterinary Benevolent Fund – meaning that participants can do good things for their practice and good things for the profession too.

Speakers will address some hot topics in practices today, such as competitive pricing strategies, key practice management issues and the role benchmarking performance can play. Joanna Hedley BVM&S (Reptilian) DipECZM (Herpetology) MRCVS will speak about the business opportunity offered by exotics as well as clinical aspects of care, while Nick Carmichael BVM&S, BSc VetSci (Hons), Diploma VCS (Syd), Diploma RC Path, Diplomate ECVCP, MRCVS will give practitioners an introduction to the increasingly sophisticated field of toxicology testing.

Angela Wilkin, Business Development Manager at VetShare says, “Independent practices are increasingly seeking to sustain a competitive position in a challenging and changing marketplace. This conference is totally in line with the VetShare ethos, helping vets get their fair share by providing easy access to practical support to allow them to achieve their objectives, whether that’s through clinical excellence, or being business-savvy.”

Members of the practice team can register by contacting VetShare at enquiries@vetshare.co.uk or can talk to Angela for more details on 07715 416 200.
