Finalists announced for the 2017 Virbac Equine SQP of the Year
Virbac are delighted to announce the four finalists for the Virbac 3D Worming Equine SQP of the Year.
Kristy Hodgson – Kristy is Director of Operations at Westgate Laboratories and is responsible for the day to day running of the lab and office. As the Director of Operations, Kristy is on the frontline of training and overseeing the in-house team of SQP’s and the laboratory.
Elizabeth Collier – Elizabeth is a receptionist and SQP at Westover Vets in Hainford. Having been with the practice since 2009, Elizabeth deals with general enquires about wormers and gives advice on worming.
Lisa Newman – Lisa has worked for equine practice Farr and Pursey since March 2016. She is an experienced small animal and equine nurse. With a mobile weigh bridge and worm egg counting equipment at her disposal, Lisa is able to visit yards to provide accurate worming advice.
Jessica Murphy – Jessica first qualified as an SQP in 2015 and works for VioVet in her role as medicines advisor. VioVet is an online company and Jessica’s main responsibilities as an SQP are to check and approve any orders for licensed medication. Jessica is also on hand to send customers courtesy emails containing additional advice on worming programs as required.

The winner of the 2017 Virbac Equine SQP of the Year will be presented with their
prize at a gala evening at Horse of the Year Show on Friday 6th October.
