Agilio Software expands into veterinary sector with acquisition of Colourful CPD

Agilio Software, the UK’s leading provider of frontline healthcare operations software, has announced the acquisition of Colourful CPD, the leading provider of non-clinical skills training to the veterinary industry. This strategic move will allow Agilio to tailor their suite of frontline operations software specifically for the veterinary market. Agilio will be launching iTeam, their HR and rota software, together with iLearn, an online training and CPD accredited platform at November’s London Vet Show and marks their expansion into the veterinary sector.

With an increasing need for high quality easily accessible CPD that busy veterinary teams can access at their convenience, iLearn, based on the Colourful CPD content, will play a pivotal role in Agilio’s veterinary platform. Brian Faulkner FRCVS, Founder of Colourful CPD shared his excitement, saying, “I am absolutely delighted that Colourful CPD has joined Agilio and I see this as a win-win-win for Colourful CPD, Agilio and the veterinary profession. Colourful CPD’s courses complement Agilio’s vast array of existing statutory and mandatory courses which they already distribute within the UK as well as all around the world, thus enabling Colourful CPD to make the move up to the next level, both here and abroad. I believe veterinary practices, as well as all the roles working within them, will benefit from being able to access a range of new courses and management services from Agilio.”

Agilio Software is the market leader in Dental and Primary Care for frontline healthcare operations, sectors that are facing very similar recruitment and retention challenges to the veterinary profession. Neil Laycock, CEO at Agilio says, “Extending our expertise to another sector is a big strategic move for Agilio and we are delighted that Brian and team are coming on board. Brian’s extensive knowledge of the veterinary profession is an invaluable asset that will help support the configuration of Agilio core products and the tailoring of our frontline software to cater for the veterinary profession.”
