Delegates to SPVS and VMG’s second Focus on Practice Finance day in Coventry on 19 June heard how one practice, Blacks Vets, has increased uptake of their health plans to 60%.  Other workshops shared strategy and case studies around stock control, business strategy and how a positive mind set can lead to improved profitability.

Speakers include Anita Bates, VetShare / MiVetClub; Colm McGinn, XL Vets; Matt Diffey, The Vet Group, Mark O’Byrne, Hills, Susie Samuel Vet Help Direct; Andrew Rastall, Connected Vet and Alan Robinson from Vet Dynamics. Tracey Morley-Jewkes, MD of Blacks Vets and Marcus Evans, Active Vetcare and CVS brought front line practice experience to balance the theory.

The day also featured an exhibition that included PMS providers, business and marketing consultants, finance companies and others with an interest in helping practice lift their bottom line.
