SPILLERS® is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Stallion AI Services which will see the UK’s best known horse nutrition brand* feeding the elite horses at one of Europe’s foremost equine AI facilities.

For more than 50 years SPILLERS® has led research, innovation and development in equine nutrition and feeding. Through its work with WALTHAM® the brand collaborates with vets and nutritionists around the world to improve knowledge of how nutrition can affect equine health, behaviour, welfare, breeding and performance.

Stallion AI Services is owned and managed by Tullis Matson. Over the past 18 years the business has collected from more than 1,000 stallions, with in excess of 11,000 individual collections, including many of the world’s top horses such as Nick Skelton’s revered dual Olympic Gold Medal winning partner Big Star. The Shropshire-based facility uses the latest laboratory technology to provide a wide range of services including semen freezing and storage, fertility testing, fresh, chilled and frozen semen distribution, a brand new conference centre and AI equipment. Stallion AI also works very closely with the Rare Breed Survival Trust to help preserve the genes of rare equines.

Luke Saunders, SPILLERS® Brand Manager said: “We are delighted to confirm our association with Stallion AI Services. This important mutual partnership brings two industry leaders together, ultimately to provide the best nutrition for equine breeding and to help us with the SPILLERS® mission to make a better world for horses.”

Kate Ashmore, Stud Manager and Director of Stallion AI Services continued: “We are thrilled to be working with SPILLERS® in providing top quality feed for stallions visiting our centre before and throughout the semen collection process. It is imperative that a stallion has a balanced diet to maximise semen quality and we’re looking forward to a bright future with SPILLERS®.”

SPILLERS® produces feeds to suit all types, including a range of superior fibres and balancers, stud and performance feeds, Laminitis Trust approved products and SPILLERS® Alfalfa-Pro Fibre which carries the BETA Equine Gastric Ulceration Syndrome (EGUS) Certification Mark.

SPILLERS® nutritionists offer free yard visits for yards of 10 or more horses and can also be found at many competitions, camps, race meets and bloodstock sales. To find out more, call 01908 226626 or visit www.spillers-feeds.com.
