New Veterinary Operations Manager for Improve International

Improve International has appointed a new Veterinary Operations Manager, Mrs Juliet Pope BVSc CertSAS MRCVS, to support the company’s Practical team in the delivery of its range of modular CPD courses and to oversee its day to day business operations.

Juliet Pope qualified from the University of Bristol and went on to work in large animal, mixed and small animal practices.  She undertook Improve’s modular Small Animal Surgery Certificate Programme and obtained the RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2004. She later undertook a soft tissue surgery residency in a private referral practice in Cheshire and spent ten years accepting referrals in soft tissue surgery as an RCVS Recognised Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery.

During her career, she has been heavily involved in surgical education, lecturing for Bristol University and both lecturing and examining for the BSAVA among other roles.  She joined Improve International in September 2017 and reports to General Manager Mr John Douglass.

Improve International is one of the UK’s leading veterinary training companies with a 20-year track record in providing structured continuing professional development (CPD) to veterinary professionals.  It works closely with its assessment partner, ESVPS, and Harper Adams University, which provides the higher education body quality assurance, in running programmes covering a growing range of practice disciplines.
