Free cat care advice and information from Cats Protection at London Pet Show
The UK’s largest cat charity will be helping people of all ages learn about feline welfare when it joins the London Pet Show at the ExCel London.
Cats Protection will be at the event, from May 9-10, with an expert speaker and a wealth of cat care advice for those looking to adopt a cat.
The charity’s Behaviour Manager Nicky Trevorrow will be giving free talks throughout the weekend on stress in cats and will demonstrate the unique Feline Fort®, a three-piece unit consisting of a cat step, table and hide that enables cats to express natural behaviours such as hiding.
Staff will also be on hand to discuss cat welfare and how its education programmes can help future generations improve the lives of UK cats.
Emma Osborne, Cats Protection’s Events Manager, said: “We’ll be on hand to help visitors understand why neutering, vaccination, microchipping and healthy eating is so important for cats
“Fortunately, there are many responsible owners who take an active interest in keeping their cats safe and healthy but we also know we have a role to educate people of all ages about feline welfare.”
Visitors to Cats Protection’s stand will be able to find out about the charity’s free talks which are available to all ages – from children aged between 3-18, Girl Guides, Scouts, and community groups for adults.
