We all know that cats love cardboard boxes. To cats a box is a secure space for undisturbed playing and napping. Tired of using shabby, old boxes, cat enthusiasts Bettina and Merle from London built a cardboard den that encourages play and also looks neat in the home: The Cat Caravan. Bettina and Merle are currently raising production funds on Kickstarter and the product will be available by the end of February.
The Cat Caravan is designed to be sturdy and durable enough to allow for some rowdy feline play for up to three cats. It has plenty of playful peepholes, two cardboard toys and even folds up for easy storage.

Their next project is a replaceable scratch pad and there are already a few concepts developed for novel cardboard treat dispensers to appeal to the cats’ hunting instincts.
