LEADING ONCOLOGY SPECIALISTS INVITE VETS TO FREE WEBINARS

Northwest Surgeons will be hosting its second oncology webinar at 8pm on Thursday 28th July.

Following the success of her colleague Iain Grant’s initial webinar on the 30th June, Mary Marrington will be discussing mast cell tumours.

Mary is a European & RCVS Specialist in Veterinary Oncology and is interested in all aspects of clinical oncology and haematology, particularly cancer therapeutics in canine and feline patients.

Together, Mary and Iain, are running the Cheshire-based veterinary referral specialists new oncology department, and these webinars are helping support the on-going launch.

“Hosting webinars is a great opportunity for Iain and I to impart our knowledge onto other vets and raise awareness on how to best treat and manage cancer in pets,” said Mary.

“My webinar will follow on from Iain’s talk on approaching and managing cancer, and will offer clarity on how to best manage mast cell tumours.

“I will cover prognosis, when to use tyrosine kinase inhibitors in therapy and answer the question ‘what is the pathologist telling me?’.

“Iain’s webinar was well received by the veterinary professionals who watched, and I hope my webinar will also help vets learn more and develop their knowledge on oncology.”
