BCF invite kids from local after-school club to head office

After school club visit bcf office (1)BCF hosted a visit from the kids from the After-School we helped decorate during the summer.

The site at St Serfs School in Airdrie is used during term time as an after-school club for 5 – 12 year olds and run by the YMCA. The team at BCF were completed the makeover in time for the children returning from their summer holiday.

We then decided to invite the kids over to spend a few hours in the BCF factory. The after-school club was presented with a cheque for further renovations to their facilities. The kids spent their time in the office on the bean bags, playing pool, table tennis and table football.

Mary McKenna who runs the Trashbush YMCA after school club said, “For the first time ever the after-school club is full and we now have a waiting list. We put this down to how the parents now view the building. BCF with all their efforts have made a huge difference and we are so grateful.”

BCF Marketing Manager, Jason Rogers commented, “It was great to have the children visit our headquarters today. They certainly seemed to have lots of fun, especially jumping on our giant bean bags and playing pool.” We were delighted to be presented with a cake and photos. We also wanted to provide a cheque that would cover the costs of all the materials we used to paint and decorate the after school club buildings.”
